Veterans Health Care

Veterans: This is a special population of men and women who have served the U.S in overseas missions, such as combat. Many veterans face complex health risks during their deployments. Veterans with service-related health problems are a clinically complex and potentially vulnerable population (Duhaney, 2020).

·         The Trump administration focused on expanding mental health programs and other resources to new veterans in the year after departure from uniformed service (Sisk, 2018).

·         Obama’s administration also focused on improving the quality of care and reducing the length of time it takes to process disability claims.
