All nursing units function using a patient care delivery method. Many of these methods have been around a long time. Most are effective ways to deliver patient care, depending on the type of unit and the mix of caregivers.
Considering this, please address the following prompts in your discussion:
Consider the various patient care delivery methods.
Describe the method used on your unit.
Compare and contrast it with the model from your readings. Is it the same?
If not, what modifications make it different?
Is it an effective way to give care on your unit? If so, why? If not, why not?
