Translational research allows for putting clinical research into practice, furthering the journey toward evidence-based practice that supports optimal patient outcomes. The role of translational research in promoting equitable access to health care and preventatives services by way of policies includes focus of translational research topics on areas in which there are current discrepancies in equitability and access to care for all populations.
