What is your reaction to change in your personal history?

What is your reaction to change in your personal history?

I think I am person who is ready to implement change in my life. I believe that change is important, as it enables me to learn about new aspects of personal and professional life. I have embraced a number of changes in my personal and professional life. For example, I adopted a change initiative that aimed at promoting healthy lifestyles and behaviors in my life. I adopted healthy dietary habits and engagement in active physical activity as a way of ensuring that I avoid lifestyle diseases such as obesity, diabetes, and heart disease. I also embraced a change initiative in my workplace that entailed the use of barcode system of medication administration to minimize safety events in patient care. From the above experiences, I learned that I am flexible in implementing change initiatives, as they contribute to improvement in service provision as a nurse.

I utilize a number of tools to help me in implementing and navigating change. One of the tools is learning more about the change. I utilize sources of information such as journals and books about the change. Obtaining adequate information about change enables me to learn about the knowledge and skills that I need to facilitate the successful implementation process (Fagerström, 2021). The other tool I utilize is training. I attend training sessions that relate to the change. Training ensures that I learn the best strategies that are essential in facilitating the successful implementation of the change in my practice. The last tool I use is active participation in activities related to the change. Active participation ensures that I develop the required knowledge and skills related to change (Sharma et al., 2018). It also ensures that I learn the best practices from others to ensure I utilize the change effectively in my practice.
