Hello,
The provided link was very beneficial because the video helps to gain a general understanding of LopesWrite, and the additional written topics go into further detail on each specific portion. Grammar mistakes and material that has been flagged for plagiarism will be underlined on the report. The similarity report tells you the percentage of information outside of quotation marks that is similar to other internet/institution sources. For academic writing, your papers should not exceed 20% similarity report. Even if the originality report is under the 20% guideline, you must still be careful that no specific portion of your paper is plagiarized. Additionally, the quoted text portion indicates the percentage of words that are used within quotation marks; this does not count toward the similarity score, but you should use quotations sparingly. The citation items portion tells you the total amount of internet/institution sources that were detected within the paper. This tool is helpful as it plays as a safety net in regard to plagiarism. When reviewing the report, you will want to make sure your similarity report is less than 20%, fix any possible grammar errors, keep an eye on the amount of quoted text, and make sure that the appropriate sources are cited. You can make corrections and re-submit to LopesWrite as many times as necessary prior to submitting your final paper (GCU Technical Support, 2021).

LopesWrite is an electronic tool that is used for academic writing for words greater than five hundred. It checks for grammatical
errors, spelling and citations. The main objective for lopesWrite is checking students work for plagiarism, taking credit for someone else writing knowing or unknowingly. After submitting your work to lobesWrite the system will generate a similarity/originality report within fifteen minutes looking for intext citation that matches a similar source within the database. A similarity score of less than 20 % can be acceptable however some professor might want a lower similarity score. Students has the opportunity to submit their work several times to lopesWrite until the acceptable score is reached. This is a great tool for it gives students another opportunity to revise their work and fix grammar and citations before finalizing the subscription

LopesWrite is a great tool to ensure that as students we are following academic and ethical guidelines in preventing plagiarism and giving credit to writers and researchers whose information we use to write our own papers. LopesWrite gives a report on how much of a paper is similar to other academic papers with the similarity score, and essentially acts as a proof reader for correct grammar, citation of sources, and writing of the reference page. Viewing the report before submitting helps the student find any errors or missed citations, then return to their writing to fix any mistakes before final submission for grading. With this tool, students should not submit any works that do not give appropriate credit to referenced works, grammar errors, plagiarized or overly similar works as their own research.

The similarity score shows the percentage of similarity of words that are not in quotation marks and other internet and institution resources. There is a breakdown showing a percentage for each internet and institution. If the report shows a 20% or higher match or the percentage the instructor has determined, the paper should be revised to improve the percentage to a lower one. One way to improve the score is to review the paper for quoted material that may have been missed being cited following the APA format using quotes. Quoted content is not included in the percentage report. Another way to improve the percentage is to review citation items. Notifications will appear in the right margin showing institution and internet sources. Citing information from sources is important, but it cannot make up too high of a percentage of the total paper. If the percentage is too high, focus on these areas of the paper, revise in your own words and review. Then, the paper can be resubmitted to LopesWrite as many times as needed to lower the percentage.

LopesWrite is a beneficial tool to prevent plagiarism in our academic writing and education. It helps to correct our grammar, spelling, vocabulary and repeated words in our essays and assignments. Plagiarism is a big ethical problem especially if we do not give credit to the author. Plagiarism is the practice of taking someone’s idea and using it in our work as it is our own work without giving credit to the real author. LopesWrite helps us to understand our mistakes and check similarities before we submit our final assignments. Lopes Write report says that academic writing should not have more than 20% similarity with internet content, books, or plagiarism. The link you provided was extremely useful to get to know how to upload our paper and send for similarity check and submit our assignment. I am looking forward to using Lopes Write in my assignments. Thank You.

Introduction to advanced nursing has been a great and exciting course for the past four weeks. The weeks’ DQs, responses, and course assignments have given me a significant experience and have encouraged great interaction. It is from the interaction that I have gathered diverse insights on advanced nursing issues, specialties, and related nursing theories. The concepts I have learned have significantly impacted my practice experience and given me a broad view of the nursing profession.
The learning experience has been encouraging, particularly after reading about everyone’s ambitions and future goals in the advanced nursing practice. I have also learned to appreciate and recognize the impact of nursing theories in practice. Having looked into nursing care theories in week 4, I am encouraged to integrate every concept into practice. The foundational knowledge instilled by nursing theories encourages me to meet my professional duties and patients’ rights. As Younas and Quennell (2019) assert, regardless of the nursing specialization and our future goals, the theories discussed are crucial in guiding practice and enhancing positive outcomes.
Besides, I am excited that most of the goals I set at the beginning of the class are being accomplished. First, I intended to gather as many insights from my peers, which has been made possible by the peer responses. I also looked forward to balancing school and other activities. The program has been highly favorable, and I look forward to interacting with the content in the coming weeks. I anticipate that the content will further guide and prepare me for my future role as a nurse leader. As a nurse leader, my role will encompass interaction with several other advanced practice nurses. Thus, the course is an excellent guide to a successful and fulfilling career.

Reviewing the topic on “How to View the Citation report” on the Lopeswrite, the Citation report and it’s content was explained. Items found in the report were identified and explained. Categories mentioned that may be found in the report summary toolbar included the word count, similarity score, quoted text, citation items, grammar items, settings, and download. The word count will ensure that your count is within the required number of words for the assignment given. The similarity score compares your work with other sources to identify similarities from the internet or other institution sources. Quoted texts are not included in the similarity scoring. Citation items on the other hand identify the items in the submitted document that are detected from internet and institution sources. We need to ensure that these items are properly cited. Lastly, grammar errors will flag some possible grammar and spelling errors within the assignment that may need to be corrected. Lopewrite helps detect plagiarism so the similarity score needs to be lower. If it is high, the assignment may need to be rewritten and proper citations need to be included. This is a very useful tool to improve our writing and help us identify some of the areas that need to be checked and improved.

The similarity score compares the assignment’s text against a database of sources, including the internet, other student papers, and one’s previously submitted work. It depicts the similarity percentage between words appearing outside quotation marks in the submitted document and other internet sources. It helps prevent plagiarism in our academic assignments and expects the score not to exceed 20% to maintain the originality of our writing. The quoted text explains the percentage of words that appear within quotation marks compared to the total number of words in the submitted document. Quoted content excludes from the part of the Similarity Score. The more the quoted text will reduce the originality of the paper. Citation items specify the total number of unique internet and institution sources detected within the submitted assignment. When we integrate outside sources into our writing, we must include in-text citations and references to prove the source and ensure the citations are accurate.

Learning that GCU has LOPESWRITE gave me a sense of relief. Writing papers is a challenging task, and I would like to ensure that my writing provides credit to the author of a book or article. At least with Lopeswrite, I am sure I follow the academic guidelines for preventing plagiarism. LopesWrite reports the similarity score between papers and other articles or papers. It also corrects the grammar, spelling, citations, and reference pages. It is an effective tool to guide students to write their essays or work without plagiarizing other authors. It gives students confidence that their papers are appropriately documented and not cited for plagiarism. It is a beneficial tool where student can submit their assignments for grading, ensuring that their works are presented with proper citations, references, and grammatical accuracy.

Self-care nursing theory and Culture-care theory are two major nursing theories. In the self-care philosophy, patients should take care of themselves to profit from the sickness. This notion helps patients comprehend their health difficulties and how to improve through instruction and nursing care. Cultural care stresses cultural competency since culturally varied people need greater creativity and awareness. Healthcare practitioners should appreciate other communities’ beliefs and values.
Pros:
- The patient will know what is wrong as it will improve the knowledge of HIV/AIDS and prevention and testing for STI/STDS.
- People from other cultures may feel more comfortable communicating their opinions.
- Cultural knowledge improves patient care.
Cons:
- Patients cannot always care for themselves.
- Consequences may arise.
- Nobody understands racial differences.
These principles promote nursing care and practice. It explains the nursing theory application.
Nursing Self-Care
The American Nurses Association’s Code of Ethics for Nurses emphasizes that nurses must practice self-care in addition to caring for patients. Watson’s Theory and Science of Caring assume that science is at the center of nursing. Watson’s care philosophy encourages self-care. Watson’s Caritas’ two main findings are that “we must learn to care for, forgive, and love ourselves before we can care for and love others (ANGELO GONZALO, 2021).” The nursing instructor should practice it so patients can become healthy quickly.
Care Theory
Protecting patient Confidentiality
Medical record privacy is a major ethical and legal issue in healthcare. Psychiatrist-patient conversations and medical information is confidential (Cohen, 2013).
Relationships
It is against the rules for medical professionals or staff members to have romantic relationships with patients. Anyone engaged in the sexual assault may be harmed, including the institution; nevertheless, the institution’s code of ethics should be unambiguous.
End-Of-Life
Patients at the end of their lives may have apparent wishes for passing away. Families may find it challenging to withdraw a loved one’s life support. Personnel in the healthcare industry and clinical executives are responsible for managing end-of-life scenarios and elderly patients who cannot make rational choices.
Infections
The epidemic virus has refocused attention on healthcare personnel’s right to avoid infectious illnesses via direct or indirect patient contact. Without a patient’s health history, ethical and legal issues emerge.
