How did you feel about being pregnant (e.g., excited, scared, nervous, joyful)?
Did you see your doctor regularly when you were pregnant with me?
What was your doctor’s name? Do you feel he/she was informative and thoughtful about prenatal care?
Do you remember your first doctor’s visit? What did your doctor do/say?
Were you concerned about the importance of prenatal care?
Did you have an Ultrasound? Amniocentesis?
Did you drink alcohol when you were pregnant with me? Smoke? Drink coffee?
Did you know the effects of alcohol, tobacco, and caffeine on the fetus when you were pregnant?
Did you eat well when pregnant with me? Did you have any funny cravings?
Did you experience morning sickness?
What was the worst part of your pregnancy with me?
Did you exercise while pregnant with me?
How long were you employed (if you were employed at all) while pregnant with me?
How much weight did you gain while pregnant with me?
How did you feel about the changes to your body (i.e., weight gain, water retention, stretch marks) while pregnant with me?
Did you have good social support (e.g., friends, family) throughout your pregnancy with me?
What do you remember most about your pregnancy with me (e.g., funny experiences, extra worries or concerns, labor)?
