Nursing practices are always based on different theories and also perspective. Nursing is a profession which is much different from the other healthcare professions. Merle Mishel’s Uncertainty in illness theory is a theory which I do believe it is so close to my beliefs. When p eople are sick there is always a need to find out what is the source of the problem (Mishel, 2018). Therefore the theory usually explains and describes uncertainty so that professionals should be able to do a research. The research which is conducted usually helps to find out the events which are related to the illness identified. Personally I usually believe that every illness should remain uncertain until a research is conducted to establish its certainty. 2.
