Applying a model or framework for change ensures that a process is in place to guide the efforts for change. In 500-750 words, discuss the model or framework you will use to implement your evidence-based practice proposal project. You will use the model or framework you select in the Topic 8 assignment, during which you will synthesize the various aspects of your project into a final paper detailing your evidence-based practice project proposal.
Include the following:
- Identify the selected model or framework for change and discuss its relevance to your project.
- Discuss each of the stages in the change model/framework.
- Describe how you would apply each stage of the model or theoretical framework in your proposed implementation.
- Create a concept map for the conceptual model or framework you selected to illustrate how it will be applied to your project. Attach this as an appendix at the end of your paper.

Title: NUR 590 How can choosing an incorrect framework or model create bias in research?
Level of Evidence present in Relation to Research and Practice
Level of evidence in relation to research and practice correlates with outcomes achieved through prolonged periods of practice. Often, research may be made up of randomized controlled studies (RCTs) which show that the practice was conducted and results determined on several populations (Guyatt et al., 2015). Research also comprise of controlled longitudinal studies, uncontrolled longitudinal studies as well as cross-sectional studies and case studies. These are complemented by expert opinions which are used to establish causality of bias. With this, it indicates that the research has undergone trials to affirm the validity of implementation (LoBiondo-Wood & Haber, 2014). The margins of errors have been analyzed and a specific pattern of practice defined to respond to a given problem that affects a defined patient population.
The levels of internal and external validity in research provide a framework of the management practices. They define the research design and as such, they are vital in a research study regardless of the methods used (Guyatt et al., 2015). In most cases, these levels of research provide the basis for the formulation of research questions and hypothesis. They can, therefore, be used to assess the cause-and-effect relationship and this reflects the needs assessment used to begin a research study.
Research design as the other level of research defines the context of the study. In other words, it reflects how the variables in a research study will work to yield outcomes. Regardless of the methods used, research design addresses the safety and the acceptability of the study for a given population (LoBiondo-Wood & Haber, 2014). Besides, the design reveals the prevalence and the appropriateness of the intervention to a given target group.
