I have many goals for this course and graduate school in general. My biggest goal is to fully engage and to absorb as much information as possible. I have limited knowledge on the information in this class, but I am hoping that I will have a great understanding by the end of this class. To keep myself accountable, I want to be actively working on schoolwork at least 5 days per week, whether this is doing assigned reading, discussion posts, or other assignments. There is a lot of information to learn in this class, and I want to get the absolute most out of it.

My next biggest goal is to take the time to read my classmates discussion posts, even if I am not replying to them. Everyone within this class has a unique background within nursing, and it is always great to learn from a different perspective. I did not know that when a nurse moves from a compact state to another compact state, they must quickly get a nursing license from the new state through endorsement. This must be done right after they move. It is important to follow the licensing rules in the new state promptly. Getting the endorsement on time makes sure the nurse can keep working in the new place without any problems. Knowing and following this rule is important for a smooth change in nursing practice.
