The course objectives focus on the role of innovation in healthcare delivery, especially nursing. The first strategy is to leverage technologies that are patient-centered which enhance engagement and interactions between patients

and providers. Leveraging these technologies ensures that patients understand their treatment journeys and collaborate with providers to improve their care outcomes (Newman et al., 2021). Secondly, improved communication means that all stakeholders understand the different components of these technologies (Lyles et al., 2020). Again, communication leads to getting a buy-in and more input and feedback to improve the systems during implementation and working.

The third strategy is to involve patients and their families in these interventions with the aim of increasing their understanding and use. Technologies like AI-powered monitoring ensures that patients have better outcomes based on routine follow up after their discharge from hospitals (Meyer, 2020). The implication is that the implementation of innovative technologies will improve different aspects of care delivery for both patients and nurses in their healthcare setting and even at home.
