NHS 8050 Unit 2 Assignment: CITI Training
NHS 8050 Unit 2 Assignment CITI Training
This assignment is a stand-alone assignment. For this assignment, you must complete the CITI Research and Ethics course. All doctoral researchers must complete this ethics training. Capella University uses CITI as the outside ethics course training with modules related to all types of human subject research. You need to save the CITI completion certificate for this assignment and for future use in your doctoral journey.
Go to the Research Ethics Education page (link given in the resources) to find out more about CITI training and how to register and take the training.
Generally, the modules take 2–4 hours to complete. You can stop and start throughout the modules. Once you have received a score of 80 percent or above, please upload your completion certificate to the assignment area. Be sure to save your completion certificate on your own computer. You must submit it again in the capstone course. The certificate will be important for your Institutional Review Board (IRB) application, too.
To choose your topic, consider your own doctoral program. Discuss possible process issues, practice gaps, or opportunities for
improvement that your organization (or possible sponsoring organization) may have that are worthy of a doctoral project.
In the DNP program, a critical review of the literature might ask the question: What evidence supports the use of a stewardship model to reduce overprescribing of antibiotics?
In the DrPH program, a critical review of the literature might ask: What evidence is available related to decreasing teen pregnancies?
In the DHA program, a critical review of the literature might ask: What evidence is available related to the integration of meaningful use in electronic health records for rural hospitals?
