Choose one of the 8 levels of the body’s organizational structure and describe how it is relevant to your future career (or a hypothetical career) as described earlier this semester.
student post1: One of the eight levels of organization in the body is organ or bodily systems, which are several organs working together to accomplish a set of functions. With wanting to become an orthopedic physician assistant, many bodily systems will be relevant to me, more specifically the muscular and skeletal systems. Within my future career, some terms that will be important would include many of the directional terms, such as anterior, superior, posterior, distal, medial, and more. These terms would be used to describe the location of patient problems to other medical professionals, ensuring there is no confusion when pinpointing structures and where injuries may be located.
student post’s 2 :Organisms would be very important for my field of study. Since I’m focusing on occupational therapy. Occupational therapy is a type of therapy that is designed to help rehabilitate its patients. Some terms that will be useful are the ones related to body regions and structure. Such as Pelv(I), Abdomin(o) and Cranic(o).
