Nursing practice is based on strong ethical standards. One of the fundamental ethical requirements is that nurses should share information in an appropriate way to foster nursing knowledge that ensures best nursing practices and better patient outcomes. Therefore, nurses can utilize different ways to strategies to ensure that relevant audiences receive information about research and EBP initiatives. One of the strategies is utilization of digitized communication such as podcasts, organizational websites, and webinars. The other method is to use small groups of the audiences like grand rounds, clinical rounds, and brief consultation. Moreover, traditional forms of sharing information such as one-on-one presentation, publication in news papers, use poster presentations, and presentation through roundtable systems. The audience can also be reached through on-site clubs or online platforms such as journal and social media to share the evidence. The other way that nurses can use to ensure that audience receive information is through targeting the message to the segments of audience by working with subgroups of audience based on different considerations such as departments, specialty, or psychographic characteristics such as attitude towards the topic (Ashcraft et al., 2020).

Policy briefs is also another way that nurses can use to ensure that all relevant audiences receive information about research and EBP initiatives. Policy brief is ideal in ensuring an accurate, timely, and accessibility description of important policy topics (Brownson et al., 2018).  Taken together, the critical considerations in these techniques in ensuring that all relevant audiences receive information about research and EBP initiatives is promotion of effective communication. Essentially, nurses have the duty to ensure that new nursing knowledge is disseminated effectively. Therefore, nurses should note that the wider sharing of the information by various strategies is crucial in ensuring wider reach to numerous target audiences, which eventually ensures application of the new knowledge in promoting best patient care and enhancing patient outcomes.
