Every day, millions of Canadians drive their vehicles to work, school, or entertainment venues, but this creates greenhouse gases and consumes nonrenewable resources. These behaviours, and many other consumption habits, all contribute to our ecological footprint. Many experts believe that we are consuming more resources each year than the Earth can produce. Instructions Your task is to explore the relationships that exist among population growth, personal consumption, technological development, and our ecological footprint and write an opinion paper based on your findings. You may choose one of the topics below to analyse. However, if you have a related topic of particular interest to you, notify your teacher of the details before you proceed. Part I: Planning Your Research Paper 1. Create a plan or outline for your paper that includes your thesis and the three main points you intend to present in support of your thesis. 2.
